Results from Lee Smith Memorial show – The Finale

Below are the results from Lee Smith Memorial show – The Finale. The 2nd of December marked the beginning and end of something special. The last big show of the year. As you are all probably aware, Victory Promotions teamed up with the Lee Smith trust for their final ever show; which is why it was important to make this event more special than any other ones that have previously appeared in the North East.

To say that this event was a roaring success is an absolute understatement. With over 1000 attendees, 17 fights and an atmosphere that would have rivalled even the biggest shows in the world the Gateshead leisure centre was alive with the sound of the cheering crowds. The buzz around social media since the event has been even more crazy!! With over 1.2 million people reached and 200+ original graphics made; the team behind Victory Promotions are really proud of the hype on the run up to the event. From the fantastic 5 round wars and jumping knee knockouts; the crowd were delivered a brilliant night of top class Muay Thai.

Bringing together gyms from all over the country to work together and deliver something that is close to many people’s hearts, was at the highest priority for Victory Promotions. Having only promoted two events prior to this adventure, this marks a massive step up in their abilities. What seems to have set them aside is their social media and marketing throughout the run up to the event.

Many have said that it is some of the best media that they have seen for an event. Producing media to the highest quality is important because it really helps give the fighters the recognition they deserve and there will be big developments and focus in this area for the next event, which is yet to be confirmed. This has helped deliver the results that everyone has been looking for; happy fighters, happy customers and happy staff!

Victory Promotions and the Lee Smith trust would like to thank everyone involved in making this event what it was, from the bar and medical staff to the judges and the runners. This event would not have been possible without the hard work that each one of you put in. So, thank you. The fighters. The level of professionalism that has been encountered throughout the journey to this event has been world-class. During all of the gym visits, photo shoots and interviews the Victory Promotions team were made to feel welcome and really made the jobs of the staff at VP very easy.
