Mark Amos Faces Liam Brough in A-Class Bout

Mark Amos is no stranger to a challenge in the ring. Having already featured on both of the previous Victory Promotions events, he is yet again laying his body on the line for the entertainment of the masses.

Living in Galashiels, Amos makes the 70 mile round trip to train with the SMTC gym in Edinburgh. The SMTC clan will be making the journey south of the border along with fellow Scotsmen, Alex MacGregor, Roan Morrison and Nico Carrillo to compete in the upcoming Lee Smith Memorial – The Finale event on 2nd December.

Having only trained for 3 years, Amos’ experience in comparison to his Yorkshire based opponent is almost half but Amos is ready to shock the Muay Thai community and come to take home the win for SMTC. With the Scottish crowd backing Amos, is this a sign of a potential upset ready for the Victory Promotions event?

His opponent is notorious at his weight category, with many of his peers at his weight refusing to fight him. This just goes to show that, Amos is definitely not shy to a challenge. Being undefeated in 5 years, Liam Brough will be coming to the ring representing Legions Gym in York. Introduced into the ancient art of Muay Thai 7 years ago by his brother, Brough has gone from strength to strength during his time spent in the ring.

Training full-time now under the tutelage of Dave Phillips, Brough is looking to add another notch onto his winning streak on the 2nd December at the Gateshead leisure centre. This fight is definitely a crowd pleaser – Brough technically has everything to lose in the bout, putting his undefeated reputation on the line he will be training hard to ensure that his ego doesn’t take that knock.

Who do you think will take the win in just over 4 weeks?

Will the young Scotsman create upset or will the Yorkshireman add another scalp to his already huge list of names?

Tickets now available at the Victory Promotions shop or from your local fighters.
